We're all a little Nutty

We always tease my mom because her backside ends up in more pictures than anyone else's. Here's a link to a photo from the district science fair, where apparently I'm famous from behind. Yesterday after lunch, Ian and I indulged in a bit of reading together, snuggling in a blanket to keep warm and cozy. We usually read 3 or 4 books, but yesterday we went all wild and crazy and read 5 of them. Usually, about halfway through book 3, I can hardly keep my eyes open and I end up rolling over for a little catnap...sometimes Ian joins me. As we finished yesterday and he recognized my sleepiness creeping in, he suddenly got jubilant. He declared, "Hey Mom! High Five! We read all five books today and you didn't even fall asleep!" Who couldn't love that little guy?
