Best Mother's Day So Far
This year, Mother's Day was beautiful. No unrealistic expectations... time to think about how grateful I am for my own mom...time to cherish the great opportunity it is to be a mother myself...time to relax and enjoy my family. Here are some highlights from the weekend: Dillon took 3rd and 4th in the 110 and 300 hurdles at region track finals. I love watching him run so that was a treat. The elementary school spring festival went well. I was in charge of all the food again. Happy to have that over with! I was so grateful for the help of Sam and Lizzie all afternoon and evening. We got to talk to Mckay. He is currently in an English speaking area in Louisiana. Sam gave me a facial and pedicure. While Sam pampered me, I watched photos on the computer of our kids when they were young.
