Where Did 5 weeks of Summer GO??
When Dillon graduated at the end of May, I was pretty sure there'd be plenty of time to enjoy him before he went on his mission for two years. And yet, we are now just 2 weeks away from him leaving and the time is going too fast! Here's what we've been up to: State champion in the 110 hurdles. High school graduation. Elementary school graduation. Stake Youth Conference (my job was coordinating a schedule for 220 participants). House stagings, house showings, and open houses. A few trips to Lagoon. Mckay spent a month in Guatemala. Lots of weeding and yard work -- in TWO yards. Two birthdays and Father's Day. Lots of shopping for missionary stuff. Falling out of airplanes. Lots of family time. I lost my mind a little bit a few times in the middle of all the busyness of life this past few weeks, but all is well. Now I've just got my family reunion that I'm in charge of and Lee has his family reunion...
