We're all a little Nutty

I've been feeling miserable for nearly a week now...can't seem to lick this cold that has turned into a sinus infection.  HOWEVER...I looked at my pictures from our family reunion last week and they made me smile.  Everyone got along so well, we laughed a lot, looked out for each other, and the cousins even cried because they didn't want to leave.  Here are some of my favorites: My sister's smile makes my heart happy.   Fish and Katie take the prize for kindest, most tolerant Aunt and Uncle. Can you tell which one is my brother? The trolls under the bridge on our hike.  Katie and I had to convince the little girls that it was really cool to sit on this "bum rock" instead of climbing up the glacial field like everyone else. Dirty, happy kids.  As a general safety rule, Ben's parents told him that if it looked dangerous and Uncle Lee was doing it, he shouldn't do it. We were all focused on the fish that flew off of Grace...

I have never been so happy for a shortcut as I was last night when I attached Dillon's 13 Boy Scout merit badges and rank advancement from the recent Court of Honor.  It had been over a year since their last court of honor so there was a year's worth of awards and advancements to give.  What would have taken me hours to attach (with lots of sore and bloody fingertips) only took me 30 minutes.  We traced them, stuck the sticky Badge Magic to them, pressed them on the uniform, and put them in the dryer for 10 minutes.  It was glorious.
