Freedom to Say Goodbye
Dillon's favorite holiday is the 4th of July so it was fitting that our week of goodbyes with him overlapped with celebrations of freedom. Here are some of the highlights: Patriotic dogs Fireworks! We NEVER buy fireworks but this year I told Dillon he could choose whatever he wanted. I prepared myself to spend a lot of money on a giant collection of fireworks. He chose 72 blooming ground flowers. No photos of ground flowers so you'll have to enjoy sparklers instead Celebrations with family I confess that I included this photo only because my nephew is so adorable and I wanted everyone to see A piano recital with Dillon's students And saving packing until the night before! We'll miss him, but we know he'll do great things and have great experiences serving the Lord for 2 years!
