We're all a little Nutty

I recently listened to and re-read a talk given by Elder Jeremy R. Jaggi, a priesthood leader in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  It summed up how I feel about this past year and I wanted to share it here in case it spoke to anyone else's heart, as well. He started with James 1:2 "My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into many afflictions." He suggested that maybe 2020 was our Heavenly Father's way of "allowing us time to reflect and consider our understanding of patience and our conscious decision to choose joy." Going back to James 1:3-4... "...the trying of your faith worketh patience.  But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing." According to the missionary manual, Preach My Gospel, "Patience is the capacity to endure delay, trouble, opposition, or suffering without becoming angry, frustrated, or anxious.  It is the ability to do God's will and accept His timing.......
