Families Can Be Together Forever
Us with cousins and 11,000+ others at the starting line When I should have been sleeping last night, I was thinking about how grateful I am for the knowledge that families are eternal. I think my thoughts started with replaying the Temple to Temple 5k from July 24th. It was so fun to run (and walk) alongside my 8 year old and thousands of others from the community. But the real meaning of it was when we STOPPED running to WAIT for my mom. We were making good time and then I started thinking about how my mom must be completely alone since everyone else had passed me already and she wasn't with them. Thanks to a message I had recently read by Elder Uchtdorf, I remembered that TRUE pioneers make sure that EVERYONE arrives safely. He said: The pioneers cared for each other irrespective of social, economic, or political background.
