Loving Where You Live

Not because it's the fanciest neighborhood (it's not) or my neighbors all like me (they don't), but because it is home. I love the way the sun shines on the distant mountain peaks in the morning. I love the cacophony of birds when I walk in the morning (NOT at 4am though). I love that I now know what kind of birds they are! I love that there are people downtown in the evenings. I love talking to neighbors who walk by. I love that I can take a free bus all over town. I love that the cashier at the store knows who I am.
