Isn't it a glorious thing to have a child that is so easy to please? Ian has been planning his Star Wars birthday party since his last birthday. He absolutely enjoyed every minute of his birthday celebrations. Here are some highlights: Clone Trooper cake Birthday video chat with dad, who was out of town. Getting waken up by Obi Wan Being trained to use light sabers meant sometimes losing limbs. We loved playing light saber nubs. Pod racing. Shoot the death star. Watching a few video clips while we ate cake and ice cream was a genius idea because nobody moved. Plus, most of the kids didn't know anything about Star Wars, so it was helpful for them to see what it was we were trying to recreate with the games we played.
