For the First Time in Your Life, This Month is All Yours

Enough about you, let's talk about Lizzie...

For her entire 16 years, Lizzie has had to celebrate her birthday on the heels of her brother.  She never got to say it was her birthday week or her birthday month because there was always someone else to share the glory.  Not this year.  Thanks to the fact that we had to celebrate Dillon from a different hemisphere, we were able to be more liberal with her attention.

So we gave her the longest birthday celebration ever.  With lots of SWEETS to celebrate it being her SWEET 16.

It started a week early with getting a free birthday ice cream at Cold Stone...just the two of us.  Oops.  That was a secret.

Then a party with some family and lots of SWEETS at Lagoon.

12 hours later was a SWEET breakfast party with friends.

36 hours later was a birthday dinner with more family.

18 hours later, she got her license.

4 hours later, we surprised her with dinner at her favorite restaurant. She says she wasn't surprised.

According to the sign in the kitchen, she can still milk this for 18 more days, but the festivities have died down significantly.
