Wind River Mountains
We hiked 10 miles in and 10 miles out. It rained. It was sunny. The views were beautiful. The water was cold. We were smelly. We ate lots of dehydrated meals. We camped alone on a cliff. We saw few animals...pronghorns on the drive there and back, a few deer, lots of different birds, and a few squirrels and chipmunks. Oh yeah. And lots of mosquitoes.
Another grand adventure to end our summer.
This is me getting attacked by mosquitoes...
Seneca Lake...In Wyoming, not New York
Sam wore this rain poncho and the rest of us put on our hoods anytime we sat down to eat because the mosquitoes swarmed around us so badly.
Dillon and Lizzie, jumping into the lake beneath our cliff campsite.
All packed up and ready to leave our cliff top home away from home.
The lake beneath our campsite.
Hiking out.
Gorgeous glassy reflections.
